Hello! My Name is Sarah Brown and I am very excited for my seventh year of teaching at Fisher Grade School.
I graduated in May 2016 from Illinois State University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Spanish. Last year I completed my Master's Degree in Global Studies in Education from the University of Illinois. This fall I will begin my doctoral program in International Education & Leadership at the University of Illinois. I am originally from Mahomet but I student taught in the Bloomington-Normal area. I feel very lucky to be a 2nd grade teacher here at Fisher Grade School with an amazing staff and administration. In my free time, I love spending time with my family. I have an older sister who is a third grade teacher at Lincoln Trail Elementary School in Mahomet! I enjoy reading, and traveling. I have a puppy named George, who I love spending time with. I look forward to the upcoming school year and having a chance to meet and get to know all of my new students and families!
